Expansion Pack - Main Quest
WARNING: This Page Contains Spoilers'''
Existing Lore
Basic Geography: The World is called Mirth, the Island that Trinst resides on is named Fainum (meaning "Safe Place" in the Old Tongue). The only other known land besides Fainum on Mirth is the Island of Naince which lies across the sea to the east of Fainum. This island is now called the Forbidden Island or the Dead Isle. (Source: History of the Undead Wars)
2000 Years Ago: Hemnosh rules Mohrum Desert. At the end of his life he becomes a powerful undead lord, and Hemnosh the WarLich rules for one thousand years. How his empire collapsed is unknown at this time. (Source: Hemnosh Quest)
12 Years Ago: An undead army arrives on the shores of Fainum after killing every living thing on the Island of Naince. Lead by the Lich King Drekkur Vask, they take up residence at the Blight Keep, now named Vask Keep. With the power of the Breach, Drekkur Vask contacts Hemnosh the WarLich and becomes even more powerful. Drekkur Vask marries Veazza Leer and takes as student Azeal Leer. With the power of the Breach Drekkur brings into our realm Hazeroth. Drekkur launches a campaign to kill every living thing upon Fainum. (sources: Necromancer Epic Quest, Undead Wars History, Ranger Epic Quest, Hemnosh Quest, Various NPC Descriptions)
10 Years Ago: The Adumbrate sets Percival Pedrail against Drekkur Vask. Pedrail enlists the aid of friend Jobeech Ric and Durryst Tahtald. Durryst Tahtald is heir to House Tahtald of Talrim Hills and brother of Pedrails once betrothed, Alhalba Tahtald. Pedrail, Ric, and Tahtald manage to Kill Vask and Veazza Leer. Azeal Leer escapes. Durryst Tahtald gives into the darkness of the Breach, promises servitude to Hazeroth and betrays Percival Pedrail and Jobeech Ric. (source: Undead Wars History, Various NPC Descriptions)
Other Lore - Notes
* Dazadah the Immersed loved Hemnosh before he became the Lich King. He sacrificed his flesh. He was always vicious and brutal, even in life. (Tempest Epic)
* Durryst Tahtald betrayed Pedrail and Ric in their attack on Drekkur Vask and Veazza Leer and thus became known as The Betrayer. He gave his soul to Hazeroth.
* Azael Leer has an insatiable hatred for Captain Pedrail for slaying his mentor and his sister.
*The Hands of the Adumbrate (a circle of Rangers) Errama Dend and her Monks of the Order of Blightbane marched upon Hazeroth. Percival Pedrail struck against Drekkur Vask. Jarek Arayan destroyed Tesh Naw. Even a century and a half ago, Ouxo Fekrum who saved Trinst from Rtharo the Plaguebringer. All were the Hands of the Adumbrate.
*If Twillo was a hold out from the Undead Wars, he would slot into existing lore very nicely. Hated by Pedrail because he was part of the undead wars. Hated by Azael Leer because Twillo abandoned his post instead of fighting to the bitter end. If Twillo was accepted by Hazeroth (as Drekkur Vask's successor), Twillo could be easily and rationally placed in Hazzy Keep, or anywhere else as an agent of Hazzy. There are also some unique undead spawns in Talrim as part of the Paladin stuff that could interact with Twillo from a Lore standpoint. Heck, Twillo could even tie in with Hemnosh in Mohrum. If Twillo was a couple of thousand of years old he could be one of Hemnosh's priests from the times of the Giant Wars. ***I like this idea***
*The Reavers one day hope to get revenge on their former lords and creators, Twillo and Hemnosh after being abandoned on the field of battle.

Notes
* The Undead originally arose from the swirling sand, blistering heat, and death in the Desert of Mohrum many thousands of years ago.
* When Hemnosh's empire collapsed many of the Undead fled East over the water beyond the lands known to the historians of Mirth.
* When the Undead assembled into armies they landed on the Island of Naince first because it was the first land they saw from the sea.
* After the Undead were defeated on Fainum some fled to the land of Kauldur but the attack 12 years ago did not occur there.
* Vast armies of Undead are assembling in the Wailing Catacombs as they plan their next attack.
* To defeat the Undead they must pass from death to oblivion...cutting off their head or removing their heart.
* Twelve years ago they were led by Drekkur Vask, now they are being led by a LichKing in the Wailing Catacombs(needs a name, Hemnosh the WarLich has been demoted in the Undead Wars.)
* Twelve years ago they were defeated by the Armies of Fainum comprised of the Trinst Army, the Mountain Guard, and the Mohrum Guard.
* The undead were forced to disperse upon their defeat which was final upon Drekkur Vask's death.
* The FoL, MoD, and monster realms are all fighting on the same side of this battle. Even though some monsters are undead the WarLich doesn't accept those who have conflicting allegiances.
* A captain in Hemnosh's army is the Warlord referred to in the Shaucid and Linaar tale.
* The Undead have no allies in this war. They are comprised of skeletons, zombies, ghouls, liches, mummies, golems, imps, reavers, and wraiths.
* Even the Necromancers of Mirth have shunned the War Lord's plans because the War Lord doesn't celebrate undeath as they do nor assist the Maw Insatiable...the War Lord merely wishes to spread death for his own selfish gains.
